3 weeks to go

After a rest day and some easy Yoga my back felt fine on today’s workout which included some back squats and push jerks.  There is no doubt the strength and flexibility I have gained in the past 2 months helped me recover from a low back strain that in the past would have lasted for at least a week!

I am still nursing a few aches and pains in my knee and shoulder but I am working on and around these issues pretty well.  At 42 I am trying to balance training hard and training smart.  I have found the Yoga to be a big help in staying supple and healthy during this challenge.  The Yoga sessions feel like the perfect form of active recovery when I am not in the gym.

So it is three weeks to go until the end of this challenge but a lifetime after that 🙂
